Our process: All GOP candidates completed a survey and interview with Ada County Republican Central Committee members. Profiles are based on their responses and were approved by each candidate. Note: Some candidates chose not to participate in our survey and interview process, so their profiles are not available.

Ada County Commissioner (District 1)
This three-member board oversees county government operations, sets policy, and manages the county budget. Commissioners coordinate services like roads, public safety funding, and land use decisions, working with elected officials and departments to deliver efficient county operations, while representing residents’ interests.
Ada County Commissioner (District 2)
This three-member board oversees county government operations, sets policy, and manages the county budget. Commissioners coordinate services like roads, public safety funding, and land use decisions, working with elected officials and departments to deliver efficient county operations, while representing residents’ interests.
Ada County Clerk
Serves as the county’s chief record keeper and elections administrator. The clerk oversees voter registration, conducts elections, maintains official county records and documents, supports the Board of Commissioners as its clerk and often manages court-related administrative functions.
Ada County Assessor
The Assessor determines the fair market value of all taxable real and personal property in the county for equitable property taxation, maintains property maps and records, and handles vehicle titling and registration (as an agent for the state).
Ada County Treasurer
The Treasurer collects, safeguards, accounts for, invests, and disburses all county funds and taxes (as ex officio tax collector), manages financial transactions, and serves as public administrator for estates without a designated administrator.
Ada County Coroner
Investigates deaths that occur under unusual, sudden, or unexplained circumstances. The coroner determines cause and manner of death, arranges autopsies, and works with law enforcement and families to provide accurate findings.
