I am married with five children and two grandchildren. Born and raised in Boise, I have lived 1.5 miles from the Lake Hazel branch since the library district’s inception and feel a strong connection to it. This area needs representation on the board. I prioritized being a mother while staying connected by subbing in the Boise and West Ada school districts and actively participating in my children’s schools. With one child still at home, I now have the capacity to serve my community in this role.
